About this project

A critical infrastructure intervention in Gaza, aimed at establishing sustainable power supply systems for water facilities servinginternally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees. This intervention will install solar systems or generators serving 3-4 water facilities, depending on local market availability and prices. Leveraging our established partnership with the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) and our proven coordination mechanisms across the Gaza Strip, this intervention will deliver sustainablewater access to approximately 8,000 individuals over a 4-6 month period, addressing the critical challenge of reliable power supply for water infrastructure in areas marked by destroyed utilities and the absence of basic services.
