About this project

BNDA is a Lao non-profit association, which facilitates management of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) in a sustainable way. BNDAhas experience in value chains development and improving livelihoods of local communities through collective learning process. Composed of young professionals coming from the local villages, it also aims to empower women and integrate the youth and people with disabilities into livelihood promotion activities. They are also trained in the application of the GALS tools, to conduct training forvillagers, following up on progress with families, support and coaching. They will contribute to the project’s interventions to pilot innovative ways for NSSF registration (A.1.1.2); promote awareness-raising among sector workers and households (A.1.3.3); strengthen advocacy and awareness-raising capacities (A.1.4.1); and GALS applications (A.1.5.2) in Huaphan Province.
