About this project

Namjai Community Association works to promote sustainable and transformational development in communities and society. It applies Participatory Learning and Action approaches and aims to build inclusive communities, by working with and empowering ethnic minorities and marginalized peoples, particularly on education of girls. Namjai works at the grassroots level, by tailoring approaches and processes for community engagement, mutual learning, and empowering people to make conscious decisions related to their livelihood anddevelopment. Its long-standing experience allows Namjai to garner the trust of community members and discuss issues such as power and gender relations and local accountability. Namjai will contribute to the project’s interventions to pilot innovative ways for NSSF registration (A.1.1.2); promote awareness-raising among workers and households (A.1.3.3); and strengthen advocacy and awareness-raising capacities (A.1.4.1) in Khammouane Province.
