About this project
The purpose of the research project is to identify, process and embed the learnings from the different OrangeCocoaPro (OCP) activities, focusing on the relationship between local processing and a potential increase in the living income of households in the cocoa sector of Côte d’Ivoire. This project will contribute to the effectiveness of the three commercial activities of combi-track OCP (being local processing of: bean to cocoa mass, pulp to juice and cocoa residue valorisation) by:1) Recommending improvements in relation to living income;2) Feed the research agenda on living income; and3) Foster relationships between Dutch and Ivorian knowledge institutes.
