About this project
The purpose of the project is to curb the widespread sale of counterfeit and unregistered seeds in Bangladesh by developing and piloting improved seed-regulatory guidelines and digital traceability tools. It seeks to strengthen the country’s seed inspection and certification system through evidence-based reforms, risk-based inspection approaches, and multi-stakeholder collaboration between public and private actors.
