About this project

The Egypt Sustainable Agriculture Innovation Hub aims to enhance productivity, profitability, and climate resilience in Egypt’s agriculture and food value chains. Jointly implemented by Chemonics Egypt Consultants and CARE Egypt Foundation, the project supports 25 small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through tailored acceleration and growth management programs, enabling them to adopt climate-smart solutions, access finance, and strengthen market linkages. The Hub fosters partnerships between Egyptian and Dutch agribusinesses, facilitates peer-to-peer learning, and organizes events like study tours and marketplaces.Key objectives include improving food security, water sustainability, job creation, and gender inclusion while building a self-sustaining virtual platform for long-term support. The project leverages existing networks, integrates SMEs into local and global value chains, and explores diverse funding streams to empower agribusinesses in a rapidly changing environment.
