About this project
On the 24th of June, Venezuela was hit by several earthquakes, which have caused large-scale displacement, damaged critical infrastructure, and disrupted access to essential services, including water supply, sanitation and health services. In response to this, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is requesting temporary surge support to address acute water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) needs. The WASH Officer is needed immediately to provide technical leadership for emergency water supply, safe water storage, sanitation and hygiene facilities, hygiene promotion, infection prevention and control, and gender- and protection-sensitive WASH interventions in displacement sites and affected communities.
