About this project

The purpose of the project is to test innovative ideas to enabling scaling of the impact of the Energising Development programme towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 of ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. NOA Uganda applies a Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) solution to address the critical affordability barrier preventing low-income, rural Ugandan households from accessing modern energy. They shall deploy Tier 1 solar home systems across three strategically selected rural clusters in regions such as Lamwo District and the Bunjako Islands.
