About this project
There is the need to address food safety challenges and enhance traceability and efficiency in Zimbabwe's agricultural value chain.Therefor the Safe Taste Zimbabwe initiative was started to develop and test a verification protocol aimed at improving food safety and market access for farmers in Zimbabwe. The initiative has demonstrated that the verification protocol is effective in improving product quality, sustainability, and worker health. However, the initiative’s reach is still limited.
