About this project

Ethiopia’s potato sector has strong production potential but remains constrained by various challenges including weak seed systems, limited access to high-quality planting material, fragmented market linkages and insufficient value chain coordination. By means of a fact-finding visit by Dutch stakeholders to Ethiopia, this project aims to come to a more efficient, inclusive and market-oriented potato value chain by improving the understanding of opportunities and challenges of the sector, identifying concrete business and investment opportunities and facilitating Ethio-Dutch partnerships.
