About this project
Côte D’Ivoire’s has the ambition to become a transport and logistics hub in the West African region and a port of entry for Sahel countries by forming strategic partnerships that stimulate international trade. To support the country in the realisation of its ambitions, the Netherlands organised various projects to include Dutch private sector in the maritime and sustainable port governance sectors. This project serves as a follow-up of a previous maritime trade mission during April 2026 and a related Matchmaking project, which strengthened relationships between the Port of San Pédro and Dutch maritime private sector, and helped identify business opportunities. In project for an incoming maritime mission, accommodating a range of Côte Ivoirian government and maritime private sector representatives, company visits will serve to leverage business opportunities and continue ongoing matchmaking efforts.
