About this project
This assignment supports the institutionalisation of Asset Management (AM) within the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) as part of the Partners for Water (PfW) programme. The project facilitates early implementation of the AM Roadmap developed under a previous Partners for Water (PfW) assignment, strengthening BWDB’s transition from project-based to assetbased water infrastructure management. Through advisory support, stakeholder facilitation, and coordination with related PfW initiatives (such as the Systems Analysis of the Build–Neglect–Rebuild cycle and the Polder 31 Action Research Programme), the assignment promotes organisational learning, alignment, and sustainability.
