About this project

This activity supports the organisation of two Partners for Water Bangladesh Platform Meetings in The Hague in October 2026 and October 2027.The meetings will bring together representatives of the Dutch and Bangladeshi governments, private-sector organisations, knowledge institutions, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), financial institutions and other development partners. Participants will exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for continued cooperation on sustainable water management in Bangladesh. The 2026 meeting will share programme progress and emerging lessons and help define priorities for the final programme year. The larger meeting in 2027 will mark the conclusion of the Partners for Water 2022–2027 programme in Bangladesh. It will present results and lessons learned and support the continuation and scaling of relevant initiatives beyond 2027.Both meetings will be organised as hybrid events to enable participation from Bangladesh and elsewhere. The activity includes venue and catering arrangements, participant communications, technical facilities, photography and reporting.
