About this project

Plataforma de Resiliência e Educação para a Água da Beira (PREAB) is an initiative to strengthen the human capital needed to operate and maintain infrastructure in a sustainable manner. PREAB is a platform to bring together the demand for training, the supply of training and the development of adapted training modules for the operation and sustainable management of infrastructure.The subsidy project finances the implementation phase of PREAB after the inception phase. At the end of 2025, PREAB is legally registered as an independent association.In the implementation phase PREAB will pursue 4 objectives:1. Systematise and retain post-project knowledge.2. Deliver continuous and relevant technical training.3. Achieve national recognition and institutional validation.4. Promote sectoral integration and sustainable funding models.Direct beneficiaries of PREAB are individuals and institutions who will directly participate in the PREAB platform's activities and benefit from its technical, managerial, and educational outputs.
