About this project

ZRCS intends to continue strengthening its response preparedness capacity and structures in coordination with key stakeholders at all levels (National, Provincial, Branch and Community) by continuing from where Response Preparedness II left and incorporate the key lessons learnt. RPIII will as well actualise the workplan developed during the Preparedness for Effective Response (PER) assessment which identified and prioritised the following key components; Disaster Risk Management Strategy, Standard Operating Procedure, Emergency Operation Center, quality and accountability, safety and security and resource mobilisation. Additionally, RPIII will complement initiatives which will be implement under the European Commission Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) Pilot Programmatic Partnership (PPP) funded project which will focus on the following three pillars: Disaster Risk Management, Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness and Response and Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA)
