About this project

Water at the Heart of Climate Action is a 5-year programme of Netherlands Red Cross, Climate Centre, IFRC, SOFF, UNDRR and WMO that aims to accelerate and scale up water action to mitigate the impacts of water related risks and increase the climate resilience of affected communities by bringing together different disciplines in the water, climate and disaster management sectors at the local, national and global level. These partners are well positioned to integrate their ways of working and collaborate with governments and communities to reduce climate vulnerability for end-to-end community-centered Early Warning Systems in countries along the White Nile Basin: Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda.
