About this project
The Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC) recognizes the crucial role of public water and sanitation service providers in supplying sustainable water and sanitation services in urban context and specifically for the urban-poor. In addition, the NLRC sees the RCRC movement as a strong complimentary organization to public water and sanitation service providers, due to our volunteer based and our expertise in community involvement which is an expertise often lacking at the more technocratic public service providers. NLRC can specifically support service providers in the field of emergency preparedness and response, community engagement and accountability.
