About this project
SUMMARY: This project addresses urgent needs through integrated education and child protection support in Ethiopia, targeting conflict-affected areas in Amhara (East Gojjam, Wag Hemra) and Benishangul-Gumuz (Metekel), and refugee sites in Metema, Kurmuk, Ura, and Aftit. It improves access to quality basic education via Home-Based Instruction and Accelerated Education for out-of-school children, and supports refugee children’s inclusion in schools. Protection services include case management for unaccompanied children and SGBV survivors. Led by Plan International in partnership with World Vision, Imagine One Day, Geneva Global, the project supports 42,178 beneficiaries with a tailored, zone-specific approach that safeguards learning and well-being in crisis settings.
