About this project
In this programme we institutionalise "Kvuno", a decentralised digital service model that lowers the cost of providing last-mile services such as access to certified seed, soil analysis, post harvest services and market connections for smallholder cotton and tea farmers in Mozambique. "Kvuno" utilises a range of digital tools to develop smart farming service packages, integrating innovative and low-cost deployment strategies, leveraging youth and community networks, and aggregating and ethically monetizing data. Through the interventions of the programme we link small scale producers to input and service providers and markets. Farmers are also supported to comply with market requirements through partnerships with other civil society organisations.
