About this project
Working in three key origins (Colombia, Uganda and Vietnam) as well as globally, the IDH coffee cluster transforms markets by impacting service delivery to farmers, applying the 5-income driver approach (also using IDH Income Toolkit). That means in our landscape programs in Colombia and Vietnam farmers receive service bundles to switch to regen. ag. practices and diversify their farms, as well as benefit their livelihoods through income increase and insurance. In Uganda the Coffee Farmer Income Resilience Program focusses on blended service delivery. Service bundles include coffee and other crop services, financial services like loans and trainings. We also help the sector in all origins with multi-stakeholder initiatives on EUDR and CSDDD readiness and in the wider context forest protection and addressing of Human Rights Risks. At global level we support pre-competitive multi-stakeholder initiatives on Value Distribution and resilience.
