Consolidation of the Rio Negro Indigenous Fund (FIRN). The Fund finances projects and initiatives from grasroots associations, developed during the elaboration of the territorial and environmental management plans (PGTAs) of the indigenous lands of Rio Negro. The project aims to continue contributing to the autonomy and sustainable development of the Rio Negro’s indigenous communities, fostering the social and climate justice. In addition, one of FIRNs main priorities is to fund women-led community projects to increase their protagonism in the region, this is well demonstrated through disaggregated indicators.
