World Sustainable Development Summit 2026

About this project

WSDS is one of the pioneering independently convened platform on the topic of sustainable development and climate action based in the Global South since 2001. Silver Jubilee Edition is being observe in 2026. The Embassy has been associated with this for the last several years and finds it to be a platform for sharing Norwegian priorities and viewpoints related to environment, climate and sustainable development. The Summit is designed as a platform to: - Pioneer conversations that drive global ambition and actions at all levels - Exchange knowledge, ideas and best practices - Contribute towards achieving SDGs and the goals of the Paris Agreement by encouraging informed and collectively driven actions
