About this project

The aim of the project is to achieve a sustained improvement in the cleanliness of Mumbai's beaches, rivers, and mangroves, while raising awareness among citizens and decision-makers about the environmental hazards of plastic pollution and the positive impact of a circular economy. The results from Mumbai have demonstrated the potential to inspire similar action at both national and global levels.
