About this project
REKAM Nusantara Foundation (REKAM) is the local coordinator for implementation of the Ocean for Development Programme in close collaboration with SSB (see SSB Agreement INS-24/0001). The Application describes the deliverables from REKAM, involving Ocean Accounting support, training, workshop support, coordination amongst authorities in Indonesia relevant for ocean accounting work. REKAM works to safeguard the considerations of gender equality and through risk analyses, unintended negative consequences of the program are highlighted, and measures are assessed. The project contributes positively in relation to this consideration. REKAM refers to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. Five indicators are set in the project so that the activities prepared follow gender mainstreaming.
