About this project
The project seeks to strengthen the resilience of family farmers’ livelihoods in the districts of Mananjary and Manakara by increasing agricultural production, improving food security, diversifying income sources, and reducing exposure to crop and asset losses- important not only for poverty reduction, but also for restoring productive landscapes that provide essential ecosystem services such as water supply and soil fertility, while mitigating the effects of climate change. The objective is to reduce the target population’s dependency on humanitarian aid when climate and socio-economic shocks occur.
