About this project

Moldova Growth, Resilience and Opportunities for Well-Being Trust Fund Program (M-GROW TF Program) A coordinated financing and support mechanism to assist the Government of Moldova to make critical investments and strengthen institutions towards the country’s green, resilient, and inclusive development and regional integration in Europe. Under Pillar 1 – Critical Project Investment, M-GROW will provide financing, as well as narrowly targeted technical assistance and capacity building, to support the Moldovan Government's key investment projects in line with the CPF pipeline. Under Pillar 2 – Institutional Strengthening, M-GROW will support development policy financing, as well as deeper technical assistance and capacity building, to support the Government’s policy and institutional reform agenda, toward implementing well-funded, coherent, and coordinated advances to enhance Moldova’s readiness for EU membership. The program will integrate key priorities such as resilience, climate change, gender, and inclusion. It will also feature green investments across several sectors and will include a Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) early in the program to deepen advice, advocacy, and related public and private sector interventions. The WB will continue to monitor existing gender gaps and the risks of emerging gender issues, especially those related to recent crises.
