About this project

Norad is providing support to Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) for a programme that GIZ is implementing in Moldova called Energy 4 Moldova. This programme aims to stengthen energy efficiency in Moldova. With these funds, GIZ will work to improve energy efficiency in the residential sector by working with the Moldovan National Center for Sustainable Energy and some of the components that they are working with, for instance Energy Vouchers for exchangig old household appliances, but also advancing further energy efficiency measures aimed at residential housing. These measures aim at reducing energy needs and thereby reducing emissions, as well as reducing energy bills for households.
