About this project
Urban Climate Adaptation Description: Mozambique's Nampula City is one of the most vulnerable to climate change. This fragile situation is further exacerbated by the influx of 45 thousand IDPs from neighboring Cabo Delgado Province. This project aims to promote urban climate adaptation and sustainable socio-economic growth in Nampula City. Intervention areas include nature-based solutions and resilient construction, tree planting, waste recycling, erosion and land degradation solutions.
