About this project

Norwegian Church Aid Somalia’s programme addresses urgent WASH, food security, and climate resilience needs through a community-led, rights-based approach. It improves access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene, supports vulnerable households with food and livelihood assistance, and strengthens disaster preparedness. WASH services are designed and delivered to ensure accessibility and inclusion for persons with disabilities. The gender perspective is integrated in all of Norwegian Church Aid`s program work, with the aim to ensure safe and equitable access for all, and hygiene promotion activities will provide MHM kits or sanitary clothing for adolescent girls and women. The programme will be implemented together with the following national partners: KAALO Aid Development, Centre for Research and Integrated Development (CERID), Social-life and Agricultural Development Organization (SADO), Bani'Adam Relief and Development Organization (BANIADAM).
