About this project

The project targets high-need, conflict-affected communities across West, South, and North Darfur, focusing on households in IPC4/IPC5 localities and local responder groups operating in vulnerable areas. Its overarching goal is to alleviate immediate hardship through Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) to 2,803 households, while strengthening community-led response by supporting 90+ local groups with Group Cash Transfers (GCTs). Additionally, the project maintains readiness to allocate Common Fund resources for rapid response to emerging shocks, ensuring flexible, accountable, and inclusive humanitarian support.
