About this project

This activity provides support to five countries (Niue, Solomon Islands, Palau, Kiribati and Cook Islands) to help build capacity for locally-led approaches to climate and biodiversity-smart marine spatial planning (MSP) and marine protection. Additionally, multi-country projects aim to build capacity and capability for MSP through development of training resources, indicators for MSP, research into traditional knowledge and customary practice and data management frameworks.
