About this project
This Activity builds on New Zealand's long-standing support for geothermal development through technical assistance and training support in Indonesia. It combines previous MFAT support under a single activity to provide support to Indonesia to strengthen sector planning, regulation and oversight; strengthen geothermal exploration and project preparation; and establishment of polytechnic level training courses for geothermal plant operators and trades people.
