About this project

The Nature Conservancy Trust NZ will work with The Nature Conservancy Solomon Islands to empower rural communities by strengthening the management and resilience of their environment, and simultaneously establishing a sustainable source of income. The Activity aims to protect the forest and nearshore areas by assessing the feasibility of a carbon credits project in Barora Fa, supporting the creation of a Protected Area Management Plan, and developing a local governance group.
