About this project
In-country English Language Training (ICELT) forms part of the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship Programme tertiary scheme. A portion of scholars from Lao PDR, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Myanmar are enrolled when unable to meet New Zealand university entry requirements. This activity is equity measure, allowing the selection of scholars from lower English and academic backgrounds. It also represents value for money, avoiding the need for costly in-NZ English training.
