About this project
The proposed support is for HiH EA to implement a programme “Development of Inclusive and Resilient Enterprises” (DIRE) composed of two projects anchored on two opportunity areas of: 1. MSMEs; 2. Waste to Resource (W2R – waste management and circularity). HiH EA proposes to deploy its four step model (with seven in-built modular training approach) in development of enterprises in the two opportunity areas. HiH EA aims to work with the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) to impart financial management/literacy, inspire intrinsic conception of enterprises, enhance financial access as well as support enterprises to make linkage to broader markets. The implementation strategy and approach has complementary capacity building approach to integrate enterprise resilience, create capacity for agency in entrepreneurs for policy advocacy and human rights, gender mainstreaming, and deployment of planet friendly practices in enterprise development.
