About this project
The contribution represents Sweden’s support to the Team Europe Initiative in Guatemala – “Fostering Green Transition in Petén.” The overall objective is to link the socio-economic development of Petén with environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources, applying a gender-sensitive and culturally relevant approach. The Project is aligned with three key pillars of the TEI: institutional strengthening; the development of green and inclusive economies; and the sustainability of productive and environmental systems.
