About this project

Project: Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation and sustainable economic development in Bolivia: "NOT ONE TREE LESS". FAUTAPO is a well established Bolivian Foundation - non-profitorganisation- authorised by the Bolivian legislation to develop its activities according to its approved statutes and purposes. Sweden has already entered in several agreements with FAUTAPO in the last fifteen years with important and relevant results. The overall project objective is to contribute to the protection of the environment, the conservation of forests and adaptation and mitigation to climate change and a sustainable economic development of the Amazon region, through the strengthening of sustainable production models, public-private multi-stakeholder platforms and the empowerment of women and men leaders of productive family units. Lines of action: 1. Conservation, Preservation and Restoration of Amazon Forests 2. Sustainable production models with biodiversity and profitability 3. Strengthening public-private multi-stakeholder platform 4. Women's empowerment with a multidimensional approach to poverty
