About this project
This action-driven initiative will aim to become a leading regional program that bridges the silos between emerging technologies and biodiversity conservation and restoration, promoting both the adoption of digital technologies for more effective, transparent, and scalable solutions with the potential to facilitate new markets and innovative financial instruments driven by the monetary and non-monetary value of nature. This will, in turn, reduce the deficit in testing new applications of these technologies to address context-based biodiversity conservation and regeneration needs, while also highlighting the role of the Indigenous People’s traditional knowledge for an impactful implementation and the sustainable adoption of the project in the long term, as well as enhancing transboundary cooperation and multidisciplinary collaborations with, for example, consolidated Nature-based-Solutions working groups in Europe and other regions.
