About this project
The proposed action is a core support to the Georgian Farmers' Association (GFA) for the implementation of its new five-year strategic plan (2025-2029). The GFA is a national organisation established in 2012. It is an umbrella organisation that includes many farmers' associations, individual members and farms. The Embassy has been providing core support for the implementation of the GFA Strategy 2020-2024. In the last year of implementation, an external evaluation was commissioned by the Embassy. The evaluation strongly recommends the Embassy to continue its financial support to the GFA. According to the evaluation, the GFA has been successful in achieving results and has overall good capacity.
