About this project

This contribution aims to improve the livelihoods and incomes of approximately 32,000 smallholder farmers in Western Uganda by strengthening inclusive, competitive, and climate-resilient agricultural value chains, with coffee as the primary entry point and expansion into other high-value crops. Through support to cooperatives, women and youth, private-sector actors, and public institutions, the programme seeks to strengthen cooperative businesses, increase financial inclusion, promote sustainable production practices, and improve the policy environment, benefiting up to 160,000 household members and 200,000 additional community members indirectly.
