About this project
This activity supports efforts to combat sexual harassment at the University of Eswatini, which continues to significantly affect women and marginalized groups. The project aims to engage 1,200 students through advocacy, education, and positive norm-building to promote safer campus environments. Activities carried out this quarter included External Engagement and Influencing (EEI) of project stakeholders through the commemoration of International Women’s Day, validation workshop of the UIC Job aid, recruitment of student champions to lead the Unlimited Interact Club (UIC) programme, and the first Training of Facilitators (TOF 1) session for the selected student champions. The project seeks to empower students as advocates for change and aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality) as well as national efforts to address and prevent gender-based violence in Eswatini.
