About this project

Soil Values is a 10-tear program that will work through three pathways to change, each representing a different area of action (1) the agroecological pathway, (2) the inclusive market development pathway (markets and finance), and (3) the enabling environment pathway (institutions and policies). The agroecological pathway targets small-scale food producers and farming systems, as well as the landscapes and watersheds that surround them. The inclusive market development path focuses on the private sector (markets, investments, business models) to overcome market barriers and strengthen relevant markets, and on financing institutions to invest in soil fertility. Finally, the enabling environment pathway focuses on the ability of public sector institutions, policies, and governance structures to support soil health in the long term.
