This project seeks to consolidate the technical, institutional, and community conditions necessary to implement a sustainable model for mangrove restoration and conservation in the provinces of Montecristi and Puerto Plata, serving as the foundation for the development of the Dominican Blue Carbon Exchange. The intervention is structured as a grouped project, which allows for the progressive incorporation of different Project Activity Instances (PAIs—discrete, trackable units of restoration or conservation activity) over time, according to resource availability and local conditions.
