About this project

The aim of the Action is to accelerate progress on the EU¿s Green Deal objectives by facilitating change in the US at the subnational level on three topic areas where policies and practices are underdeveloped, where there is a ripe opportunity for learnings and insights from Europe, and where action can ¿ and should ¿ be able to continue in the years ahead regardless of change of direction at the national level. The three priorities areas of the European Green Deal identified to meet these criteria are: 1) sustainable agriculture and the food transition, 2) energy-efficiency and conservation in buildings, and 3) circular economy. Additional actions linked to European Green Deal priorities that do not necessarily or strictly lie within these 3 priority areas of this project may be undertaken when it is in the EU interest.
