About this project

<p>The project consists in the construction of a 50 MW photovoltaic power plant and its connection to the national grid. The power plant will be located in the highlands of the western part of Bolivia, in the Altiplano region, 45km from Oruro city in the municipality of Caracollo. With the favorable sun radiation conditions of this area, the plant is expected to generate approximately 94,500 GWh/year (P90 assumption). The plant will be connected to the national grid through an existing 115 kV transmission line and the electricity will be sold in the Bolivian electricity wholesale market.</p>
