About this project
The Action is part of the Global Gateway Investment Agenda for Jamaica, in particular as regards Climate Change resilience and adaptation, limiting environmental degradation, given its focus on making infrastructure systems and its management green and sustainable. Positive results of this Action will enhance Jamaica¿s capacity to become a logistic hub in the Caribbean region, and capitalise on its strategic location to serve major trade corridors. This Action will prepare the ground for further investments in the harbour and waterfront areas, in infrastructure and urban renewal.
