EU-Vietnam Support Measure

About this project

The EU-Vietnam Support Measure implement the support measures under the second part of the Multiannual Indicative Programme 2021-2027 with Vietnam as adopted in the Mid-Term Review for 2025-27. It covers the cooperation facility.The Overall Objective of this action is to advance the EU-Vietnam partnership. The Specific Objectives of this action are to:Provide further support for the implementation of the priorities of EU cooperation with Vietnam, Team Europe Initiatives and Global Gateway implementation, including its 360° approach and economic security considerations, and the development of the EU-Vietnam cooperation under the next MFF;Support strategic communication of the EU in Vietnam, relating to raising awareness, understanding and perception of the European Union¿s partnership with the country, particularly around Global Gateway flagship projects and Team Europe Initiatives. The action will be implemented in direct management (procurement) via a limited number of service contracts, each concluded with a respective specialised service provider. Environmental protection and climate change, gender equality and empowerment of women and girls, human rights, disability, reduction of inequalities, democracy, and disaster risk reduction will be mainstreamed in all aspects of the action.This action contributes in particular to SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
