About this project

The action Advancing global trade integration will continue our support to Uzbekistan¿s efforts to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), and once that objective is achieved, to operate as a fully-fledged member. It will build on the current WTO accession assistance project, which will end in December 2025. The action will help to formulate and implement trade and investment related policy and regulatory reforms to align with international standards and trade related commitments, thereby furthering Uzbekistan¿s integration into the global economy and strengthening its economic resilience. The action will also increase trade and investment opportunities for European businesses and benefit EU funded Global Gateway actions.
