Activity under preparation Empowering Women as Business Actors in Tajikistan

About this project

Under the current Country MIP Priority Area 1 ¿Inclusive Green and Digital Economy¿, the Action acknowledges that women's participation in the green economy is crucial for sustainable development and climate resilience. In Tajikistan, women remain underrepresented in many sectors of the green economy: the Action promotes initiatives that support their access to training in sustainable practices and green jobs, while addressing existing inequalities in employment and participation. Activities: 1. In collaboration with the private sector create new job opportunities for women in the green economy. 2. Job Promotion/Skills matching through enhanced entrepreneurial opportunities for women; 3. Training programmes focused on skills for the green economy for young people and women; 4. Awareness campaigns addressing information gaps, webinars, conferences, community activities and workshops for women in the green industry.
