About this project

Objectives and Expected OutputsThe Overall Objective (Impact) of this action is to contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth by supporting sustainable agricultural practices and the sustainable transformation of Agri-SMEs in priority value chains.The Specific Objectives of this action are to;Strengthen the dairy sector through improved animal genetics in dairy hubs and structured service delivery with producers, cooperatives and EU private sector partners, as well as access to finance.Strengthen the cocoa sector through targeted institutional and regulatory reforms implemented with relevant public authorities and value chain actors to improve governance, European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance and investment conditions and access to finance.The Outputs to be delivered by this action contributing to the corresponding Specific Objectives are: SO1: Improved dairy productivity through breeding and animal genetics systems established in selected dairy hubs.SO1: Improved animal health, through integrated health services and climate-smart feeding systems.SO1: Producer cooperatives and dairy business groups commercially strengthenedSO1: Access to tailored financial products and investment for dairy value chain actors expanded.SO2: Climate-smart, EUDR-compliant cocoa production promoted, through targeted agroforestry pilot demonstration.SO2: Access to finance, private investment and market competitiveness of the cocoa value chain enhanced.Implementatio…
